The RSC War Memorial Lodge, built in 1953, is a spacious ski-in, ski-out lodge located at Whakapapa Skifield. Sleeping up to 67 guests in bunkrooms, it features a cozy lounge, games area, dining space, and drying room. A live-in cook provides meals during the ski season, creating a welcoming atmosphere, especially for families and younger members. Notably, the Lodge honors 26 RSC members who died in WWII, showcasing remarkable construction history. It’s the hub for races, events, and school holiday activities.
